Firstchefpro dual Juilenne vegetable peeler

When you have arthritis, it is really hard to peel fruits and veggies. Just the thought of it, makes you want to plan a whole different dinner. The peelers are awkward in your hand and they don't seem to peel right which makes it even harder on you and your hands. Sometimes, you just need a little help.

The Firstchefpro, is one amazing peeler. It actually peels and on the other side, it juilenne's whatever needed. The first time I used this, I may have used it wrong. The blades kept spinning around making it really hard for me to peel the apples that I was trying to peel. I finally got it peeled and I was so happy. Like I said, I don't know if there is some magic way to hold it so the blades don't turn on you, but I would like to learn that trick.

Besides the turning issue, I had no other problems with this, besides the fact that it was a tad bit heavy in my hands. with time I got use to it so that problem is not too bad. On to the good points---This thing is so cool looking. It is stainless steel and just beautiful. Looks really well made (except the blades turning) and I think that it would last for a really long time. Seriously, this thing looks like it should be in a kitchen of a fancy restaurant. Plus it worked so well peeling my fruits and veggies. It is sharp enough to cut right through on the first try and so much faster then simply using a knife to cut off the peels!
