Demyly Stainless Steel and Silicone Tongs

When I first got married 5 years ago, we barely had anything for the kitchen. We either had to borrow stuff or use things for things that they weren't even suppose to be used for. We haven't moved forward too much from there. Things have come into our possession here or there, but we are still using items to multitask.


Tongs are something that we never had. If we need to get spaghetti out we used two spoons put together which would often break the noodles or mush them up into nothing. Turning things on our grill was just as hard. It in order to turn and move things like steak, we used two spatulas, one on each side of the steak. It was awkward and not the easiest thing to do. Even salad was interesting. We don't eat it but we will make it when we have dinner guests. The guests hated using the spoons to try and get it out of the bowl.

This set is pretty awesome. It is made well and you can actually see how it all works through the top. There are sections of silicone on this as well, including the tips. The fact that the tips are silicone, makes me happy. I know that whatever I use these on, is not going to get scratched up and look like crap. The other silicone is nice as well. Having them down the sides, makes them so much easier to grip and hold on to. The color isn't bad either.

I find life is so much easier now. I wish that these had come into my life earlier. At least now I can feel just how much easier it would have been these last five years and I am so happy I don't have to multi task anymore. It dirtied up way too many dishes then it should have and it was just awkward and made the jobs even harder!
