Grippie Pencil Grips

There are so many things in life that you can't control. Your penmanship and how you hold your pencil are something that you can control and you really should. Teaching your kids at a young age, before they start writing and even after is always a good idea. Grippies can help out with that. Grippies are grips that you put on on pencils and they really help you to see exactly where and how to hold your pencil!

I think that this is such a good idea. If only they had these when I was learning to write! My writing and pencil stance may be a lot better today. The concept maybe simple, but they really are a smart thing to use for your children.

They are designed to teach you how to hold a pencil at the right angle for better handwriting and control. When I tried to use it, it was totally foreign to me. I guess I hold my pencils the complete wrong way, because it isn't this way. It does take some getting use to, if you are already a pro at writing.

This would be perfect for kids when they first start holding and writing with a pencil. If you teach them with this early enough, they will hold their pencil the correct way for the rest of their lives. Which may save them from a life of pain in their hands and fingers as well. The cool dolphin shape is fun for them as well. My kids really enjoy using these and it does seem like their handwriting is getting better.
