Through The Rug

Childhood brings many things. Iconic books are a large part of that. I had never heard of or read this book, that I can remember. But I can tell you about the Baby Sitters club or the Berenstein Bears.

Just because I never read it, doesn't mean that my kids shouldn't. We sat down and read this book together. It is a fairly short read, and they all seemed to pay attention the whole time.

Through the Rug, is a name that you don't understand, until you read the book. The story is a simple but fun one and we all liked it a lot.

Grandma, attempts to take a cooking class, but instead ends up in a magic class. You can see all around her, what happens when she tries to do a spell. When one goes wrong, they fall through the rug to Wishland. Wishland seems pretty perfect and a place I would gain a ton of weight.

I don't give too much info on books, even ones, that everyone else seems to know. It has so many more amazing moments, you have to read it to find out what they are.

Please head on over to Barnes and Noble and check out this awesome book. http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/through-the-rug-jill-ammon-vanderwood/1126177519?ean=9781544244211
